Refund & Cancellation Policy

Jawelt Bay GmbH — AI Execution Services

Last updated: April 2026 · Version 1.0

Overview

At Jawelt Bay GmbH, we are committed to transparent, fair, and clearly defined terms for every engagement. This policy explains your rights and obligations when cancelling a project, and what you are entitled to at each stage of delivery.

Because our services involve significant upfront resource allocation — including team assignment, infrastructure setup, and sprint planning — our refund terms reflect the work invested at each stage.

Standard Payment Structure

Payment 1

50%

Due upon signing of project agreement, before work commences.

Payment 2

50%

Due upon delivery of agreed deliverables at project completion.

Custom payment schedules may be agreed in writing for larger engagements. Any deviation from the above must be documented in the project agreement.

Cancellation Terms by Stage

1

Before Work Commences

Within 48 hours of signing & deposit payment

If you cancel within 48 hours of signing the project agreement and paying the deposit, and no work has commenced, you are entitled to a full refund of the deposit (100%).

Cancellation must be submitted in writing to info@ja-welt.com with the subject line "Cancellation — [Project Name]".

2

After Sprint Has Started (Days 1–3)

After 48 hours, up to Day 3 of the sprint

If you cancel after work has commenced but within the first 3 days of the sprint, you are entitled to a partial refund of 50% of the deposit. The remaining 50% covers planning, team allocation, and work completed to date.

All work completed up to the cancellation date will be delivered to you.

3

Mid-Sprint Cancellation (Days 4–6)

Days 4 through 6 of the sprint

Cancellations during days 4–6 of the sprint are non-refundable for the deposit. The deposit is fully earned at this stage due to the substantial work invested.

All work completed up to the cancellation date will be delivered to you. The final payment (50%) is not due.

4

After Delivery

After deliverables have been handed over

Once deliverables have been handed over and accepted, no refunds are available. The final payment becomes due upon delivery.

If you believe deliverables do not meet the agreed specification, please refer to the dispute resolution process below.

Disputes & Non-Conforming Deliverables

If you believe that delivered work does not conform to the agreed specification, you must notify us in writing within 7 days of delivery at info@ja-welt.com.

We will review the claim and, where valid, provide corrections or revisions at no additional cost. We are committed to delivering work that meets the agreed scope.

Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably are subject to the jurisdiction of Düsseldorf, Germany, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
